Motivation
As a lifelong member of the Dorchester County community, a proud graduate of Woodland High School (Class of 2016), and a former state foster care review board member, I am deeply committed to the success of our schools and the well-being of our staff and students. My personal experiences have shaped my dedication to our community, and with years of broad experience, I will bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for educational excellence to our school district.
I am running for the Dorchester District Four school board because I believe in the power of education and want to give back to ensure the success of all scholars in our community despite their challenges. I know how it feels to be left behind and struggle with education, but despite the odds, I've been blessed enough to go off and accomplish great things. I aim to give everyone the opportunity and resources to succeed while striving for excellence. Serving on the school board is a unique opportunity to shape educational experiences, represent diverse scholars, and develop policies that positively impact our community. I want to be that representation for so many families who need it, and I am committed to bringing hope and optimism for a brighter educational future for all.
